WhatI really have no idea how to do this internet thing but here I am anyway. Natural health and herbal remedies is a passion that I have been persuing for over 20 years. I have made mistakes and learned from each one of them. Countless hours have been spent pouring over books and learning from those who have blazed this trail before me. What I hope to accomplish now is to spread some of what I have learned over the years and maybe save you some of the trials, tribulations and goofs that I have seen and made during my years of acquiring hard earned wisdom. Looking back it has been a wild ride that's for sure! And it's not over yet! |

My kiddos and I have fun (with an occasion squabble thrown in too) working together as a family researching, concocting and selling our home based line of foods and herbal remedies. I have 7 natural born children, 2 babies in heaven and a few other wonderful people I claim as my own all helping where they can. I have 4 grandchildren and God grandchildren (is that a word?) as test subjects and I am married to one amazing guy who has stood by me through my hair brained schemes and learning adventures. Wow! I really am one blessed lady!!! Though we have lived a natural life for many years we do still have some health concerns in our family... I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2009. It has been a roller coaster getting use to living a life a bit different than I was accustomed. My oldest son, The Gamer, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes three weeks before his 3RD birthday (that was more than 12 years ago). We spent a lot of time wondering where that came from?!? We thought we were doing everything right and as natural as possible. It took some time to accept that sometimes these things just happen and to allow God's grace to shine in it. And, last but not least, my Artist daughter was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease. This is an auto-immune low thyroid disorder. She has experimented with gluten free living and different supplements to help with the ups and downs of low thyroid. |

We live in Indianapolis, Indiana; just a stone's throw from The Indianapolis 500. Yes, it's REALLY loud in the summer but I love it. Not even our chickens mind all the noise.
We sell our products at Farmers Markets throughout the area and hope to dispense as much knowledge to anyone who wishes to learn as possible. All of our products are carefully hand crafted in small batches to ensure freshness and superb quality. We, as a family, use, eat or have in one way or another tried every product we sell. If it ain't good enough for us we ain't gonna sell it to you! Okay, okay, that was awful grammar! Like finger nails down a black board to me. My homeschooling teacher side is fighting my trying-to-be-funny blogger side. I just want everyone to know we care and take pride in what we do. Markets and times:
